Okay, so I was finished lambing and kidding quite a while ago.
Ellen started it all off with her two ewe lambs. It was a great way to start the season! This is her fourth lambing season and the first time she has had a ewe lamb and two of them at that!! They where born on a morning when a couple of people were coming out to help me shear a sheep or two. The most darling little girl came out and I asked her if she would like to name them. She came up with Cutie and Callie.
All total it was a wonderful season! 10 ewe lambs, 10 ram lambs, 4 doeling kids, and 4 buckling kids. So many different colors! All are very healthy and I only helped with two first time ewes that where struggling with a big single.
All that news and only ONE picture?!? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHee hee. I know that was not very nice was it. More pictures to come. I have been so absent from posting on my blog, I thought I would stretch it out (and cheat a little bit too, I really like to be able to schedule when blogs go out) :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully, this will get me back in the swing of things. I sure don't know how you get everything done and write such wonderful blogs!
Well, I LIKE to write and take photos. If I did less of it, I'd get a lot more OTHER things done -- and probably should!
